After years working for one of the world’s largest broking firms, Heydon decided he could better serve his clients by starting Insure Taranaki with the backing of an international group and focusing on 4 core pillars: Trust, Advice, Choice, and Value for clients.
​
Heydon enjoys helping his clients to create their new insurance programme or strengthen/remarket an existing programme and advocating on his client's behalf during the claims process.
In his limited spare time away from the business Heydon enjoys fly fishing in Turangi, surfing at his local beach in Oakura or hitting trees at his local golf course.

Kelsey, a former high school teacher agreed to join the Insure Taranaki team in late 2021. Filling broker support roles and with close guidance and training from Heydon her progression through the industry has been nothing short of outstanding. Kelsey has the base and support which see’s her on track to be a future star of the NZ broking industry.
Kelsey now fills the role of Commercial Broker and while still working alongside Heydon enjoys assisting our business clients by understanding their risk profiles and negotiating fiercely for unrivalled cover and competitive premiums. Her attention to detail and loyalty are key qualities her clients benefit from.
In her spare time, Kelsey has a large Taranaki family base on both her and her partners' side and enjoys spending time with them all. In the winter season, you’ll likely find her supporting her partner at Tukapa Rugby and socialising with mates.
STACEY
HALL

Stacey made the move from another broking house to Insure Taranaki in early 2022 and it’s fair to say has not looked back since and proved to be an invaluable member of the team.
Stacey’s passion for helping clients, broad industry knowledge and experience within the motor vehicle industry has seen her take on the claims manager role within the business. Stacey is a champion of our client's interests and with strong processes in place, ensures our clients are well looked after and informed from claim lodgement to settlement.
Stacey’s industry experience spans insurance companies to brokers and as a registered financial adviser Stacey also has the skill and expertise to assist our SME and Personal Lines clients with their broking requirements which she does on a regular basis.
Stacey and her partner Wayne have both enjoyed ownership of successful small businesses and side hustles in the past. Nowadays, outside of work, you’ll find Stacey enjoying her newly built home and training her young puppy. Like many of our clients, Stacey is a devoted mother and grandmother making for full days when away from the insurance office.

Juarne is the engine that keeps the business moving. Supporting Heydon with various support roles she makes sure that the paperwork is tidy so that clients queries and requests are looked after quickly and with a smile.
Juarne was born in Stratford and her family farmed in Cardiff for a number of years before moving to New Plymouth.
In her very early 20’s she accepted a job for an international insurance broking company where she found her passion and forte for the industry.
To pursue her new founded career she accepted a job in Christchurch and moved there working in a large local broking firm supporting the brokers helping clients through large earthquake claims.
The pull of home always remained and herself and her family made the move back to Taranaki where she again was snapped up by the same international broking firm. She soon realised that the business model at Insure Taranaki focusing on close client relationships resonated with her and after a chance meeting with Heydon she was employed not long after.
Juarne loves enjoys spending time with her partner and their two children. She is an avid sports enthusiast and supports her partner during the cricket season & enjoys baking for the team.
LAUREN
LUTTRELL
Lauren is the creative and marketing brains behind the business. Supporting Heydon with brand direction and marketing strategy and design. Lauren also takes care of a number of background administrative and accounts tasks to keep the business ahead of the game.
With over 10 years experience in Marketing and Sales and a commerce degree from the University of Otago, Laurens point of view always makes sure the business thinks outside the square and does things differently.
Lauren was born and raised on a dairy farm on the coast in Taranaki and enjoys running, snowboarding, tennis and spending time with her family.
CHRIS
YOUNG
Chris is a current director of Insure Taranaki and provides a second opinion and sounding board for larger company decisions.
With over 25 years in his own businesses, Chris brings with him huge knowledge and support to the Insure Taranaki team.
Chris has over 20 years of insurance experience, many of them in his own broking practice.
Chris now spends his spare time working as a business mentor helping the next generation of business owners to get their idea’s off the ground.
During his spare time, you’ll find Chris fishing on the Tongariro River or skiing on Mount Ruapehu.
